Astrid Wilson, a senior at Parkdale, class of 2022. This is their first time writing for the school newspaper. Were they anxious about it? Yes, but they still managed to come up with something and stay on task.. well sometimes. They aren’t the most social person but they aren’t quiet either. They’re just trying to get to know as many people as possible before time runs out. They are open to talk to whomever about whatever and their goal is to be as welcoming as possible. They have a big thumb for art and music, enjoy watching anime and playing games on their switch, and like to secretly pet the cats in their neighborhood. They would one day like to become a vet and/or make art in the form of music and drawing for a living, so the stories and different perspectives they get from being a part of the group might be in their next piece, ya never know!
