Check out the important announcements below that you should know in PHS updates:

• Quarter 3 ends on Thursday, April 7th.  Be sure you have the amount of points needed to pass each of your classes by the end of the year as fourth quarter is your last chance to secure grades.  For clarity, full-year classes will need the total points below to receive the specified average grades:
  A-Average: 360-400 points
  B-Average: 320-339 points
  C-Average: 280-319 points
  D-Average: 240-279 points
  FAILED: 0-239 points
• On Wednesday, April 6th and Thursday, April 7th, Parkdale will be completing a mandatory Chromebook Inventory.  Please be sure to bring your Chromebooks with you on those days to count towards the inventory, even if the computer does not work.
• On Tuesday, April 5th and Thursday, April 7th, students will receive a COVID-19 Test Kit to be used to test students on Monday, April 18th (the day before we return back from Spring Break).  Please be sure you are not taking the COVID-19 test prior to Monday, April 18th.
• The Coalition of Concerned Black Christian Men (CCBCM) Scholarship program has awarded over $500,000+ dollars in scholarships to (529) deserving young men and women pursuing their collegiate dreams and aspirations. We challenge our young adults to continue their education and earn their college degree so one day they too will help make a difference in the community. We invite high school seniors as well as post-secondary students to apply for CCBCM scholarships by accessing the following link: The Oliver “Jerry” Harmon Memorial Scholarship. Through the link, students will find the application as well as submittal information.
• Friday, March 8th will be a two-hour early dismissal.
