Need-to-know info for the Week of Mon. 1/31- Fri. 2/4
Check out the important announcements below that you should know in PHS updates:
- Second Quarter ends on Wednesday, February 2nd. If you are registered in semester classes, this means that your schedule will change for second semester since the beginning of third quarter marks the end of first semester. In order to have passed semester classes, you must receive a total of at least 120 points between your first and second quarter grades.
- Tuesday, Feb. 1 marks the beginning of Black History Month.
- Thursday, Feb. 3 will be a two-hour early dismissal for teachers to submit and finalize grades.
- The Girls’ Basketball Team remains undefeated, as of today, with a record of 7-0. Their next game is Monday, Jan. 31 away against High Point High School.
- The swimming pool restrictions have been lifted so the swim team can resume practices on Monday, Jan. 31. The team will have their second meet of the season on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Fairland Aquatic Center in Beltsville at 3pm.
