Check out the important announcements below that you should know in PHS updates:

• Students are allowed to wear red or pink shirts on Valentine’s Day (Monday, February 14th), but they must still be in their khaki bottoms.  There will be a photo booth on the stage in the cafeteria, so stop by to take a picture!
• The Parkdale Chorus will be performing during lunches on Valentine’s Day!
• Junior Michael Bailey placed 2nd in the 100-yard breakstroke at last week’s Swim Meet! Congrats, Michael!
• Indoor Track will finally have their first competition in Baltimore on Monday, February 14th.  Good luck, team!
• February is Teen Dating Violence Prevention Awareness Month.  If you or someone you know is struggling with an abusive relationship– be it physical, mental, emotional or sexual– there is help.  You may visit the website loveisrespect.org or call the toll-free number 866-331-9474 for help and information.
• This week’s edition of Freestyle Friday Open Mic will focus on Black Lives Matter.  Stop by the Senior Lounge beginning at 3pm to participate or listen in.
• The Parkdale SGA Door Decorating Contest will close this Friday, February 18th.
