How to make the perfect Chocolate-Chip Cookie

Chocolate chip cookies are a treat that everyone should know how to make. Although there are plenty of recipes out there, I am going to teach you how to make the PERFECT chocolate chip cookie.

Why are these the perfect chocolate chip cookies? Well these cookies are soft, chewy and have just the right amount of sweetness. So whether you are at home quarantined or you’re just craving something sweet, try out this easy recipe. It doesn’t get any better than this!


  • 1 cup of butter softened 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¾ cups of granulated sugar
  • ¾ cups of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips


Step 1:

Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add in eggs one at a time. Then add in your vanilla extract, salt and baking soda. 

Step 2:

Gradually add in your flour and mix.

Step 3:

Add in chocolate chips. Mix.

Step 4:

Wrap bowl with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Step 5:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 6: 

Take the cookie dough out of the fridge and roll the dough into balls (2tbs per cookie depending on how large you want them)

Step 7:

Bake for 12-13 minutes. 

Step 8:

Let cool, then ENJOY!
