Mary is a junior who has been on staff for a year. When her 9th grade English teacher noticed her extraordinary awesomeness she was begged to be on staff, and so finally she gave in, because she is just that good. Her witty sarcastic (dead) humor draws people in. With the experience she has with words as an independent hopeful writer trying to catch her big break, her character and dedication is something the paper needs to stay alive.
